Who am I?
Throughout my life, I have had rough times and great times, however Football was something I was never supposed to do.
When I was six, I came down with a bout of pneumonia in a freak time frame. During that bout, I nearly lost kidney functions, one lung, and was in the ICU trying to fight it off. After a couple of weeks, I was released, however I had to go to USF multiple times for tests and panels. During those visits, I was told that the damage I took was too much and I came out having multiple issues, asthma, urinary issues, and immune system issues. Each week, my dad was told that something else was being tested, and each week, I fought. After the last visit, we were told that I was not going to do what normal kids my age does outside, that my body could not handle it. Maybe down the road as a teenager, but not at that point.
I am a Football Player. Athletic, Strategic, and Humble.
When I turned 10, COVID was coming down, and my best friend’s parents invited my family to the Dover Patriots football field to watch him play football. I was dressed in raggy drooping shirt, and pants. From there, I was in love. I loved hitting people, making contact and showing off. Coach Curtis Grooms took me as a Midget, teamed with my mom and dad, and from that point on, I have not looked back.
I am currently playing as a Charger at Strawberry Crest High School in 11 on 11, and also a Brandon Bronco, playing 8 on 8 in the spring. I am an A and B student, looking to improve my academic skills to support my playing skills. My ultimate dream is to play at FSU, UF, Miami, Texas, USF or UCF. I love Florida and would like to stay in state, but I also understand that if the opportunity should arise, I need to take it.
